  The Women Empowerment Unit at the Faculty of Law, University of Kufa held a scientific symposium on the role of women in economic development prepared by Dr. Narman Jamil. The symposium aimed to shed light on the importance of women in economic development and the implications of activating the role of women in the economic field. and the role of Mrs. Khadija, the wife of the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and his family and grant him peace, being a model of our Islamic history and her great economic role in spreading Islam as she is one of the wealthy people of Makkah Al-Mukarramah and was an example of women’s ability to trade and economic development. Economic development and giving them enough room for economic participation, and the need to raise the level of awareness among women in the field of economics, especially women in rural areas.
