The Women’s Empowerment Unit at the Faculty of Law, in cooperation with the Health Department of Najaf, holds its cultural symposium entitled (Iraqi women are partners in sustainable development)

Under the auspices of the Dean of the faculty of Law, Professor Dr. Saeed Ali Ghafel, and on the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Women’s Empowerment Unit in the College of Law, in cooperation with the Health Department of Najaf and the Private Law Branch in our college, held its cultural symposium entitled (Iraqi women are partners in sustainable development) on Tuesday 3/14/  2023, Dr. Nidal Abbas Majeed Al-Baghdadi, Doctor of Specialization / Community Medicine, lectured on behalf of Najaf Health Department , and on behalf of the private law branch, Assistant Professor Dr. Rudina Muhammad Reda Karboul, where the symposium began with an opening speech in which the lecturers spoke about the importance of the role of women in society and the achievement of sustainable development  The seminar focused on two axes:   The first axis / primary health care, our way to achieving health and safety: Dr. Nidal Abbas explained the concept of health and knowledge of the correct health patterns necessary for those about to get married, how to take care of pregnant women, care in maternity halls, during childbirth, and care after childbirth, and she also put forward several proposals to organize  The family, and the necessity of conducting periodic examinations necessary to detect early cases of cancer, which contributes to prevention and treatment measures.
