The Educational Guidance and Psychological Guidance Unit, in collaboration with the Public Law department, held a workshop on (introducing university norms and ethics, as well as instructions for student discipline), at which Ms. Ibtihal Ghazi and Dr. Diaa Muslim Al-Ghaiby, the Public Law Branch’s head, attended and discussed the most important university norms and traditions through a statement of its concept, and that each educational institution, whether educational cohesive fabric that enforces discipline while also emphasizing its scientific significance and ancient heritage. The following are the most important university customs and traditions:
Avoiding incidences of cheating through scientific competition among students.
Daily work commitment, attendance at lectures, and arriving in the classroom before the lecturer.
Respect for the educational system’s components.
Considering the notion of brotherhood and its limitations.
Commitment to the university uniform, within the bounds of decency and decency, and in a way commensurate with the institution’s position and the governorate’s specifics.
The college’s directions and rules must be followed.
Avoiding habits that are frowned upon, such as immorality, smoking, and alcohol and drug misuse.
Rejecting discriminatory elements, not jeopardizing religious values or national unity, and protecting oneself from radical notions.
While Assistant Professor Dr. Diaa Al-Ghaibi, Head of the Public Department, gave a lecture on student discipline instructions in the institutions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which included a statement of the obligations that fall on students and that must be followed by laws, internal regulations, instructions, and orders issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and its institutions (the University, body, and collegians),
